These simple homemade egg noodles require only three basic ingredients and come together quickly for a fresh, tender, and delicious pasta. Perfect for soups, casseroles, or as a standalone dish with your favorite sauce.

Ingredients

• 2 cups all-purpose flour

• 3 large eggs

• 1/2 tsp salt (optional)

Instructions

1. On a clean surface, make a mound with the flour and create a well in the center.

2. Crack the eggs into the well and sprinkle with salt (if using).

3. Using a fork, gradually mix the flour into the eggs until a rough dough forms.

4. Knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

5. Cover the dough with a clean kitchen towel and let it rest for 30 minutes.

6. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.

7. Using a sharp knife or pasta cutter, slice into strips of preferred width.

8. Allow the noodles to dry for 15-20 minutes before cooking.

9. Boil in salted water for 2-3 minutes, or until tender. Drain and serve.

Notes

– For a richer flavor, use farm-fresh eggs.

– Letting the dough rest is essential for a smoother texture.

– If the dough is too dry, add a teaspoon of water at a time while kneading.

– Store dried noodles in an airtight container for later use.
