Description

These savory cheese scones are light, flaky, and packed with cheesy goodness. Made in the air fryer, they’re quick, easy, and perfect for breakfast or as a side dish.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour

1 tbsp (15g) baking powder

1/2 tsp (3g) salt

1/4 cup (60g) cold butter, cubed

1 cup (100g) shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup (120ml) milk

1 large egg

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add cold butter and rub it into the flour mixture until it resembles breadcrumbs.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheese.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk and egg. Add to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into scones.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (180°C). Place the scones in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
  7. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm.

Notes

Add herbs like chives or parsley for extra flavor.

Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
