Ingredients

2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
1 tbsp (15g) baking powder
1/2 tsp (3g) salt
1/4 cup (60g) cold butter, cubed
1 cup (100g) shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup (120ml) milk
1 large egg
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add cold butter and rub it into the flour mixture until it resembles breadcrumbs.
- Stir in the shredded cheese.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together milk and egg. Add to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into scones.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (180°C). Place the scones in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Air fry for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm.
Notes
Add herbs like chives or parsley for extra flavor.
Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
