This Balsamic Chicken is a flavorful and juicy dish made with a simple balsamic marinade. The combination of balsamic vinegar, garlic, and herbs creates a delicious glaze that enhances the tender chicken. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner!

Ingredients

– 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

– 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tablespoon honey (optional)

– 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

– 1 teaspoon dried oregano

– 1/2 teaspoon dried basil

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

– 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

– Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, honey, Dijon mustard, oregano, basil, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.

2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.

3. Preheat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.

4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

5. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

– For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.

– You can bake the chicken at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes instead of grilling.

– Serve with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
