Cajun Chicken with Creamy Parmesan Linguine is a rich, flavorful dish featuring juicy Cajun-seasoned chicken served over creamy, garlicky linguine pasta with a generous amount of Parmesan cheese. A perfect blend of spice and creaminess.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and let rest before slicing.
  3. While the chicken is cooking, cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
  5. Add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens.
  6. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss until well coated with the creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Slice the Cajun chicken and serve on top of the creamy linguine. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust the level of Cajun seasoning to your spice preference.
  • For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
  • Can substitute chicken breasts with thighs for a juicier option.
