A creamy, cheesy dip that combines the flavors of traditional crab rangoon, perfect for parties and gatherings.
– 8 oz cream cheese, softened
– 1/2 cup mayonnaise
– 1/2 cup sour cream
– 1 1/2 cups crab meat, shredded (or imitation crab)
– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– 2 green onions, finely chopped
– 1 teaspoon soy sauce
– 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon sugar
– 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
– Wonton wrappers or chips, for serving
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, sugar, and sesame oil until smooth and creamy.
3. Gently fold in the shredded crab meat, chopped green onions, and 3/4 cup of the shredded mozzarella cheese.
4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
5. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese on top.
6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly.
7. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
8. Serve warm with wonton chips or your choice of crackers.
– For a spicier kick, add 1 teaspoon of Sriracha sauce to the mixture.
– If desired, garnish with additional chopped green onions or a drizzle of sweet chili sauce.
– To make homemade wonton chips, cut wonton wrappers into triangles, spray with cooking spray, and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5-6 minutes until golden brown.
