– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tablespoon chili powder
– 1 teaspoon ground cumin
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for extra spice)
– 1 can (400g) diced tomatoes
– 1/2 cup beef broth
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 8 small taco shells
– 1 cup shredded lettuce
– 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it up with a spoon until browned and cooked through.
2. Add the diced onion and garlic to the pan and cook for another 2-3 minutes until softened.
3. Stir in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Cook for 1 minute to toast the spices.
4. Add the diced tomatoes and beef broth. Stir to combine, then simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. While the beef mixture simmers, warm the taco shells in the oven according to the package instructions.
6. Once the beef is ready, spoon the mixture into the taco shells.
7. Top with shredded lettuce, cheese, sour cream, salsa, and fresh cilantro.
8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
– You can adjust the level of spice by adding more or less cayenne pepper.
– For a healthier version, you can use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef.
