Instructions
- Prepare the pan: Line an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
- Melt the chocolate mixture: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir continuously until smooth and fully melted.
- Add flavor: Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt. Mix in chopped nuts or candy pieces if using.
- Transfer to pan: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly with a spatula.
- Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2–3 hours, or until firm.
