Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour (or all-purpose flour, heat-treated)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened (or coconut oil for dairy-free)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk (or almond milk for dairy-free)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup melted chocolate (for topping, optional)

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, beat together the butter and brown sugar until creamy.
  • Add milk, vanilla extract, and salt, then mix well.
  • Gradually add the almond flour and mix until a dough forms.
  • Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  • Press the dough evenly into a lined 8×8-inch baking dish.
  • If desired, pour melted chocolate over the top and smooth it out.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.
