– 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
– 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
– 1/2 tsp garlic powder
– 1/2 tsp onion powder
– 1/2 tsp paprika
– 1/4 tsp salt
– 1/4 tsp black pepper
– 1 egg, beaten
– 1 cup breadcrumbs
– 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for frying)
– 4 large flour tortillas
– 1 cup shredded lettuce
– 1/2 cup sliced tomatoes
– 1/4 cup sliced red onions
– 1/4 cup ranch dressing or your preferred sauce
1. In a shallow bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
2. Dip the chicken strips into the flour mixture, then the beaten egg, and finally coat them with breadcrumbs.
3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken strips for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
4. Warm the tortillas in the microwave or on a skillet for a few seconds until soft.
5. Place a tortilla on a flat surface and layer with shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and red onions.
