Description

This Easy Nutella Chia Seed Pudding is a quick, no-fuss dessert or snack that combines the rich, chocolate-hazelnut flavor of Nutella with the nutritional benefits of chia seeds. It sets overnight to create a creamy, pudding-like texture that’s perfect for breakfast, a midday treat, or a healthy dessert option.

Ingredients

Units Scale

2 cups unsweetened almond milk (or your preferred milk)

1/2 cup Nutella

1/4 cup chia seeds

12 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (optional, for added sweetness)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the almond milk, Nutella, maple syrup (if using), vanilla extract, and salt until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  • Stir in the chia seeds until evenly distributed.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the pudding to thicken and the chia seeds to absorb the liquid.
  • Before serving, give the pudding a good stir. Adjust sweetness if desired.

  • Serve chilled, topped with fresh berries, chopped nuts, or a drizzle of extra Nutella if desired.

Notes

  • If the pudding is too thick, stir in a little extra milk until you reach your desired consistency.
  • For a slightly different twist, try adding a tablespoon of cocoa powder to intensify the chocolate flavor.
  • This recipe is easily doubled for a larger batch or to store in individual jars for grab-and-go breakfasts.
