A savory coastal delight that captures the fresh flavors of Florida shrimp with zesty seasonings and a creamy, cheesy filling. This pie is perfect as a light dinner or brunch option that brings a taste of the coast to your table.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

 

  • 1 ready-made pie crust (or homemade, if preferred)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the shrimp, shredded cheddar, cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Gently fold in the diced celery and chopped parsley.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the pie crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top turns lightly golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and let the pie cool for a few minutes before serving. Optionally, garnish with extra parsley and lemon wedges.

Notes

  • For the best flavor, use fresh shrimp. If using frozen shrimp, be sure to thaw and pat them dry thoroughly.
  • This dish can also be enjoyed chilled as a refreshing seafood salad pie.
