**For the Steak Bites:**
– 500g sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/2 teaspoon paprika
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
**For the Garlic Parmesan Cream Sauce:**
– 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 250ml heavy cream (1 cup)
– 50g grated parmesan cheese (1/2 cup)
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
– 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
**Cook the Steak Bites:**
1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Season the steak bites with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
3. Add the steak bites to the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
**Make the Garlic Parmesan Cream Sauce:**
4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
5. Pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.
6. Add parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, stirring until the sauce thickens.
**Combine & Serve:**
7. Return the steak bites to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. Simmer for 1-2 minutes.
8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with mashed potatoes, pasta, or roasted vegetables.
For extra richness, add a splash of white wine before adding the heavy cream. You can also use ribeye or filet mignon for even more tenderness.
