This Honey Mustard Turkey Avocado Sandwich is a delicious and healthy lunch option. Made with lean turkey, creamy avocado, and a tangy honey mustard sauce, it’s packed with protein and flavor. Perfect for a quick meal at home or on the go!

 

Ingredients

– 2 slices whole grain bread (or choice of bread)

– 4 oz (113g) sliced turkey breast

– 1/2 avocado, mashed

– 1 tablespoon honey mustard

– 1 teaspoon mayonnaise (optional)

– 1 slice Swiss or cheddar cheese (optional)

– 2 slices tomato

– 2 leaves lettuce

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Toast the bread slices if desired.

2. In a small bowl, mash the avocado and season with black pepper.

3. Spread honey mustard (and mayonnaise if using) on one slice of bread.

4. Layer turkey slices, cheese (if using), lettuce, tomato, and mashed avocado on top.

5. Place the second slice of bread on top, pressing gently.

6. Cut in half and serve immediately.
