This Hot Shrimp Dip is a creamy, cheesy appetizer packed with tender shrimp, zesty spices, and a touch of heat. Perfect for parties, game days, or any gathering, this dip is sure to be a crowd-pleaser when served warm with crackers, toasted baguette slices, or fresh vegetables.

 

Ingredients

– 12 oz cooked shrimp, chopped

– 6 oz cream cheese, softened

– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 1/3 cup sour cream

– 1/4 cup mayonnaise

– 2 green onions, chopped

– 1 tbsp lemon juice

– 2 tsp Old Bay seasoning

– 1/2 tsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, hot sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.

3. Fold in chopped shrimp, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped green onions until well combined.

4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.

5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and golden on top.

6. Serve warm with crackers, toasted baguette slices, or fresh vegetables.

 

Notes

– For a spicier kick, increase the amount of hot sauce or add a pinch of cayenne pepper.

– Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

– This dip can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
