This Joe’s Crab Shack Crab Dip is a rich and creamy appetizer made with lump crab meat, cheese, and a flavorful blend of spices. Perfect for dipping with crackers, toasted bread, or veggies!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup lump crab meat (fresh or canned, drained)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning (or more to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for spice)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
  • Toasted bread, crackers, or tortilla chips (for serving)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Set to 375°F (190°C). Grease a small baking dish.
  • Mix Ingredients: In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar, Parmesan, lemon juice, Old Bay, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until smooth.
  • Add Crab Meat: Gently fold in the crab meat, keeping some chunks intact for texture.
  • Bake: Transfer to the baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
  • Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with chopped green onion and parsley. Serve warm with toasted bread or crackers.

Notes

  • For an extra cheesy dip, top with more cheddar before baking.
