Festive and fun, these Marshmallow-Filled Easter Eggs feature smooth chocolate shells encasing a light and fluffy marshmallow filling. Perfect for adding a playful twist to your holiday celebrations.

Ingredients

*For the Chocolate Egg Shells:*

– 12 white chocolate egg molds or pre-made white chocolate egg shells

– 12 oz white chocolate (if making your own shells)

*For the Marshmallow Filling:*

– 1 cup marshmallow fluff

– 1/4 cup heavy cream

– 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

*Optional:*

– Powdered sugar for dusting

– Melted dark chocolate for drizzling

Instructions

1. If using chocolate molds: Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring between sessions until smooth.

2. Spoon the melted chocolate into the egg molds, ensuring an even coating. Tap the mold gently to remove air bubbles. Chill in the refrigerator until set (about 15 minutes).

3. For the filling, combine marshmallow fluff, heavy cream, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and slightly airy.

4. Carefully remove the set chocolate eggs from the molds if you made them yourself. If using pre-made shells, ensure they are clean and dry.

5. Using a small spoon or piping bag, fill each chocolate egg with the marshmallow mixture.

6. Optionally, drizzle with melted dark chocolate and dust lightly with powdered sugar for an extra festive look.

7. Chill the filled eggs for another 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

– For a smoother filling, gently warm the marshmallow mixture in a microwave for 10-15 seconds before filling the eggs.

– If you prefer a richer flavor, experiment by adding a pinch of salt or a dash of cinnamon to the filling.

– These treats are best served chilled and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
