These simple peanut butter cookies require only three ingredients—peanut butter, sugar, and an egg. They’re quick to prepare, naturally gluten-free, and perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings with minimal effort.
– 1 cup creamy peanut butter (avoid natural peanut butter)
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 1 large egg
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, and egg. Stir until well mixed.
3. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions and roll them into balls. Place them on the baking sheet.
4. Flatten each ball with a fork, making a crisscross pattern.
5. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
6. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Peanut Butter: Use conventional creamy peanut butter for the best texture. Natural peanut butter may result in a crumblier cookie.
Sugar: Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of sugar between ¾ to 1 cup, depending on your preference. Food.com
Storage: Once cooled, store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to five days.
