A wholesome, dog-friendly treat that combines the rich flavors of xylitol-free peanut butter and nutritious pumpkin puree. These pup donuts are a fun and healthy snack to spoil your furry friend.

 

Ingredients

– 1 cup oat flour (or whole wheat flour, if tolerated)

– 1/2 cup unsweetened pumpkin puree

– 1/4 cup natural peanut butter (ensure it is xylitol-free)

– 1 large egg

– 1/4 cup water (or low-sodium chicken broth for extra flavor)

– 1/4 cup natural peanut butter (ensure it is xylitol-free)

– 1 large egg

– 1/4 cup water (or low-sodium chicken broth for extra flavor)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a mini donut pan.

2. In a mixing bowl, combine the oat flour and baking powder.

3. Add the pumpkin puree, peanut butter, egg, and water. Mix until a smooth batter forms.

4. Spoon the batter into the donut pan cavities, filling each about 2/3 full.

5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the donuts are set and lightly golden.

6. Remove from the pan and allow the pup donuts to cool completely on a wire rack.

7. Optional: For an extra treat, drizzle a thin layer of peanut butter over the cooled donuts.
