Philly Cheesesteak Sliders are a delightful twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, featuring tender slices of beef, sautéed onions and bell peppers, and melted provolone cheese, all nestled between soft slider buns. Perfect for gatherings, game days, or a delicious weeknight meal.

Ingredients

**For the Sliders:**

– 12 slider rolls

– 1 pound beef top sirloin or ribeye steak, thinly sliced

– 1 tablespoon olive oil

– 1 medium onion, thinly sliced

– 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced

– 12 slices provolone cheese

– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

– Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

– 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

– 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

**For the Garlic Butter Spread:**

– 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

– 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

– 1 teaspoon light brown sugar

– 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

1. **Prepare the Garlic Butter Spread:**

– In a small bowl, mix together softened butter, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and smoked paprika until well combined.

2. **Cook the Steak and Vegetables:**

– Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

– Add sliced onions and bell peppers; sauté until softened and caramelized, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

– In the same skillet, add thinly sliced beef. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Season with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Combine with the sautéed onions and peppers. Remove from heat.

3. **Assemble the Sliders:**

– Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

– Place the bottom halves of the slider rolls in a 9×13-inch baking dish.

– Layer with slices of provolone cheese, followed by the steak and vegetable mixture, and then another layer of provolone cheese.

– Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese.

4. **Apply the Garlic Butter:**

– Brush the melted garlic butter evenly over the top of the slider buns.

5. **Bake:**

– Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.

– Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops of the buns are golden brown.

6. **Serve:**

– Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.

– Slice and serve warm.

Notes

– For a spicier kick, consider adding sliced jalapeños to the steak and vegetable mixture.

– To make the sliders even more flavorful, consider adding sautéed mushrooms to the filling.

– If you prefer a different cheese, provolone can be substituted with American cheese or a cheese blend of your choice.

– Leftover sliders can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven before serving.
