This Pizza-Taco Fusion combines the best of both worlds! A crispy pizza crust is topped with zesty taco-seasoned beef, melted cheese, and all your favorite taco toppings. It’s a fun, delicious twist that’s perfect for pizza night or Taco Tuesday!
– 1 pre-made pizza crust (or homemade)
– 1/2 lb (225g) ground beef
– 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
– 1/4 cup (60ml) water
– 1/2 cup (125ml) pizza sauce
– 1 cup (100g) shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1/2 cup (50g) shredded cheddar cheese
– 1/2 cup (125ml) diced tomatoes
– 1/4 cup (60ml) chopped red onion
– 1/2 cup (125ml) shredded lettuce
– 1/4 cup (60ml) sliced black olives (optional)
– 1/4 cup (60ml) sour cream (for drizzling)
– 1/4 cup (60ml) salsa or taco sauce (optional)
1. **Preheat oven:**
– Set the oven to 425°F (220°C).
2. **Cook the beef:**
– In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
– Drain excess grease, add taco seasoning and water, and stir. Simmer for 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
3. **Assemble the pizza:**
– Spread pizza sauce evenly over the pizza crust.
– Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top.
– Evenly distribute the taco-seasoned beef over the cheese.
4. **Bake the pizza:**
– Place the pizza on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
– Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
