Description

A fast, flavorful twist on traditional pizza—this Caprese Naan Pizza features a crisp naan base topped with fresh tomato slices, creamy mozzarella, and fragrant basil, then finished with a drizzle of tangy balsamic glaze. Perfect as a quick lunch, appetizer, or light dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 pieces naan bread (store-bought or homemade)
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced or torn into pieces
  • 2 medium tomatoes, sliced (or 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved)
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

 

  • Balsamic glaze, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare Base: Place the naan breads on a baking sheet. Lightly brush both sides with olive oil.
  3. Layer Toppings: Arrange tomato slices evenly over the naan, then distribute the mozzarella. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 8–10 minutes or until the cheese melts and starts to bubble.
  5. Finish: Remove from the oven, immediately scatter fresh basil leaves on top, and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
  6. Serve: Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • For an extra herby kick, sprinkle a pinch of dried oregano before baking.
