Sheet Pan Breakfast Pizza is a hearty and customizable breakfast dish that combines the best of pizza and breakfast foods. With a base of pizza dough topped with scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and melted cheese, it’s perfect for feeding a crowd or enjoying a leisurely weekend brunch.
– 1 package (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
– 6 large eggs
– 1/4 cup milk
– 1/2 lb breakfast sausage, crumbled and cooked
– 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1/4 cup chopped green onions
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Optional toppings: cooked bacon, diced bell peppers, spinach
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a sheet pan with nonstick spray.
2. Roll out the pizza dough onto the prepared sheet pan, pressing it to fit the edges. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven.
3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour the egg mixture over the partially baked dough.
4. Evenly distribute the cooked sausage, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and green onions over the eggs.
5. Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 15–20 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the cheese is melted.
6. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
– Feel free to customize the toppings to your preference, such as adding sautéed mushrooms, diced tomatoes, or herbs.
– For a spicier version, consider adding jalapeños or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes.
– This recipe can be made ahead by assembling the pizza and refrigerating it before baking. Add a few extra minutes to the baking time if starting from cold.
