Description

This Steak Garlic Cheese Bread is the ultimate cheesy, savory treat! Loaded with tender Ribeye steak, caramelized onions, and a rich garlic cheese spread, it’s baked to golden perfection. Perfect as an appetizer, side dish, or even a full meal!


Ingredients

  • 1 French bread loaf
  • 1 pound Ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced
  • 1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 TBSP minced garlic
  • 2 TBSP butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded Asiago cheese
  • 3/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Provolone cheese slices
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Cook the Steak & Onions:
    • Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add a little oil.
    • Cook the sliced Ribeye steak and onions with 1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce for a few minutes until the steak is browned and onions are soft. Remove from heat.
  • Make the Garlic Cheese Spread:
    • In a bowl, mix together:
      • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
      • 1 TBSP minced garlic
      • 2 TBSP softened butter
      • 1/2 cup shredded Asiago cheese
      • 3/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
      • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
    • Stir well until fully combined.
  • Assemble the Bread:
    • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
    • Cut the French bread in half lengthwise.
    • Spread the garlic cheese mixture evenly over both halves.
    • Add the cooked steak and onions on top.
    • Layer with Provolone cheese slices and season with salt & pepper.
  • Bake:
    • Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden brown.
  • Serve & Enjoy!

Notes

  • Add red pepper flakes for heat.
  • Serve with a side of marinara or ranch for dipping.
  • Use ribeye or sirloin for the best flavor!
