Description

This moist and tender loaf is swirled with a creamy cheesecake filling and studded with fresh strawberries. It’s a delightful treat for breakfast or dessert!

 


Ingredients

For the Loaf:

1 1/2 cups (190g) all-purpose flour

1 tsp (5g) baking powder

1/2 tsp (3g) salt

1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened

1 cup (200g) granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1/2 cup (120ml) milk

1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract

1 cup (150g) fresh strawberries, chopped

For the Cream Cheese Filling:

4 oz (115g) cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar

1 large egg


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla. Mix well.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the strawberries.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and egg until smooth.
  6. Pour half of the loaf batter into the prepared pan. Spoon the cream cheese mixture on top, then add the remaining batter. Swirl gently with a knife.
  7. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool before slicing.

Notes

Use frozen strawberries if fresh ones aren’t available.

Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
