  • 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 lb frozen meatballs
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, combine BBQ sauce, ketchup, honey, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Simmer over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add frozen meatballs to the sauce. Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
  • Stir cooked pasta into the skillet with the meatballs and sauce. Mix well to coat.
  • Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and let it melt. Garnish with green onions and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use homemade meatballs instead of frozen ones for a fresher taste.
  • Try adding red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Swap cheddar cheese with mozzarella for a milder flavor.
