Tortilla Pizza Pockets are a fun and easy-to-make twist on traditional pizza. Filled with gooey cheese, savory sauce, and your favorite toppings, these crispy, handheld pizza pockets are perfect for a quick snack or dinner.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 flour tortillas
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices (or other desired toppings)
  • 1/4 cup sliced green bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup sliced onions
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Lay the tortillas flat on a clean surface and spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on half of each tortilla.
  3. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, and sprinkle with dried oregano and garlic powder.
  4. Fold the tortillas in half to create a pocket, sealing the edges by pressing them together gently.
  5. Brush both sides of the tortilla pockets with olive oil and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  6. Place the pockets on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the tortillas are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute before serving. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the toppings with your favorites, such as mushrooms, olives, or sausage.
  • If you prefer extra crispiness, you can also cook the pizza pockets in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side instead of baking them.
  • Serve with extra pizza sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
