Description

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with this refreshing and romantic Strawberries Cream Iced Latte! Made with homemade strawberry syrup, chilled espresso, creamy milk, and topped with whipped cream, white chocolate drizzle, and fresh strawberries. Perfect for sharing with your special someone!

Ingredients

Scale

1/2 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

2 tbsp granulated sugar

1/4 cup hot water

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup milk (whole, almond, or oat)

1/2 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee, chilled

1/2 cup ice cubes

1/4 cup heavy cream (for topping)

1 tbsp powdered sugar

Melted white chocolate, for drizzle

Fresh strawberry slices, for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the Strawberry Syrup:
  • In a small saucepan, combine the sliced strawberries, granulated sugar, and hot water.
  • Simmer over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until the strawberries soften and release their juices.
  • Mash slightly, then strain through a fine sieve to remove solids.
  • Stir in vanilla extract and let cool.
  • Assemble the Latte:
  • In a glass, add ice cubes and pour in the chilled espresso or strong coffee.
  • Pour the milk over the coffee, then drizzle in the homemade strawberry syrup.
  • Stir gently to combine.
  • Make the Whipped Cream:
  • In a bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  • Decorate:
  • Spoon the whipped cream over the latte.
  • Drizzle melted white chocolate over the top.
  • Garnish with fresh strawberry slices for a festive Valentine’s touch.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, use almond or oat milk and coconut cream instead of heavy cream.

Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less strawberry syrup.

Store leftover strawberry syrup in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
